Bridget

Bridget is a six-wheeled prototype for the remote-control Mars Rover that will, hopefully, trundle over the surface of Mars in search of life after it lands there at the end of the 2013 Mars Expedition.

Built by EADS Astrium, in Stevenage, it's now a video star. Made from research team footage shot in conditions on Earth that mimic Mars as closely as possible, this short programme presents all the beautiful Bridget's vital statistics!
