EMGS
In 1997, Norwegians Svein Ellingrud and Terje Eidesmo, conceived the possibility of adapting electromagnetic technology to detect oil and gas reservoirs under the sea. This technique, ‘seabed logging’, proved remarkably successful and reduced uncertainty in exploration - saving money and time.
A new company, Electromagnetic Geoservices – EMGS – was formed to provide the seabed logging service and became a great success.
When EMGS' range of techniques, software, hardware and expertise were brought together under the 'Clearplay' brand, we were asked to research and write the launch brochure, a folder for product sheets, the sheets themselves and some accompanying flyers and press ads. Much of this copy is also used on the EMGS website.
